OVERVIEW OF SUPPORTS

  • Service Coordination – Guided by the principle of self-determination, Service and Support Administrators (SSA) help people identify what they need and want out of life and connect them to the people, places and things that matter the most to each one.

    Early Intervention – Helping families to help their children (birth through two) learn and grow through evidence-based practices

    Transition – Provides career exploration, job development and job placement for youth ages 14 to 25 as they transition from school to work

    Family Support Services – Enhances quality of life for families who care for a loved one at home by providing respite care, adaptive equipment, etc.

    Residential - Supports that enable people to live in the community are delivered by private providers and funded by the Board

    Transportation – Provides transportation for eligible people as they travel from home to work, school, etc.

    24/7 Emergency Assistance – Emergency assistance is available by calling 740-310-2255, 24/7, 365 days per year. This number may also be used to report health/safety issues involving people with developmental disabilities
